Where are you located?
Bailey Bunny Farm is located in Colfax, IA.
Do males or females make better pets?
Personally, I do not have a preference on gender. All of our bunnies get daily interaction and are picked up often. Bunnies really enjoy play time on the floor and will come to you on their own time. Every bunny is different; the more time you spend with them the better they will be.
Can I visit your barn and see your bunnies?
No, I do not give tours or allow visitors into my bunny barn. This is for the health and safety of all my bunnies. Young babies are fragile and do not need any other germs brought into the bunny barn.
Are holland lops good pets for kids?
This depends on the bunny and your kids. I raise my bunnies to be friendly and handled often. Kids tend to be loud and rough, but many do great with bunnies. You know your kids and should be able to decide if they can handle a bunny.
How often do you have babies?
Babies are born every 4-5 weeks with the exception of late spring. I hold off on babies from April until mid-late June. This is due to our family vacation. I don't like to have my animal sitters take care of babies while I'm gone. Babies require a lot of extra time cleaning and making sure they are healthy.
