Leia gave us a scare last week. On Sunday night she stopped eating and pooping. She wouldn't drink anything or move around. Monday morning wasn't any better. A rabbit's gut must always be moving. They must graze all day and that is why they are always pooping. We took her to the vet immediately. She was injected with LOTS of fluid, given pain meds and another shot to help get her to eat. I syringe fed her critical care for a day and a half. FINALLY SHE POOPED! We were all so happy to see bunny poo. She was back to normal eating by Monday night.
